Darakshan is a world traveler. He’s been traveling continuously, without a home, for over 5 years. He’s been the only passenger on a cargo ship that crossed the Algeciras ocean. It took 14 days for him to arrive at the rock of Gibraltar. He’s always the guest of a special being doing beautiful work in the world. When we recorded the conversation for The Nameless Show he was at the foothills of the Pyrenees mountains in the south of France staying in an ancient monastery as guest of a woman who is channeling Mary Magdalene.
Earlier in his travels he found himself with a group of Muslim men headed to Mecca on pilgrimage. Darakshan, having recently grown a long beard, found himself able to blend into this group which welcomed him even though he and they knew he was not a Muslim. The group took him in as a brother and by paying pilgrimage with them and visiting the Kabba, unknown doors of perception opened.
That’s Darakshan’s keynote, he finds himself in these places as easily as we might find ourselves at a good yoga class. He has a great deal to share, which he does effortlessly and utterly without ego. If you’re planning to travel to exotic places, you just might encounter him, he seems to be everywhere and nowhere at the same time. Darakshan’s exemplar, which he talks about in this interview, is Abraham the father of the Abrahamic tree that spawned Jewdism, the Muslim religion, and Christianity. If you listen well, you just might find the seeds to sow in your own exploration of finding and being guided by exemplars.
